Fifty-four women overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) arrived on Tuesday morning at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) from Lebanon.
The Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) said the OFWs arrived on board Gulf Airlines flight GF 154 at 10 a.m. and were accorded airport and other related ser vices such as facilitation of Immigration and Customs formalities.
The repatriated OFWs, who are temporary sheltered at the OWWA Halfway Home, will also be assisted in their travel back to their provinces. Stress debriefing will likewise be conducted by the OWWA Counseling Team.
They will be oriented on the reintegration options, including business entrepreneurship under the P2-billion OFW Reintegration Program. Starter kits under the Livelihood Assistance Program to start their own micro businesses will also be offered to interested OFWs.
