Those who plan to get the new iPad through Verizon and AT&T for the 4G LTE connectivity data package would have to likewise wait, as both companies are just collating emails from customers, for future advise. The same also goes for retail store Best Buy, who are also accepting pre-orders.
This news is actually not that surprising, it can be remembered that the iPad 2 last year had around 4-5 weeks delay. It was the "mother of all backlogs", as Tim Cook called last year's shipping issue.
