Search company Google, has just released the iOS platform version of their Chrome internet browser and within a day, has become the top free app download on the iTunes store.
With overwhelming positive reviews, the app now has an average rating of 4.5 out 5 stars.
The Chrome for iOS is available for the iPhone, iPod Touch and the iPad and brings a user experience similar to its desktop version, including its features such as incognito mode, tab syncing and many more.
However, unlike its desktop counterpart, there is no custom plugin support. So at the most basic level, the Chrome for iOS is currently just your Safari alternative.
Reviews and tests by our staff has also revealed one weakness in the app, that it tends to render JavaScript slowly. But we're sure updates and fixes to such inconveniences will go out soon.
So, if you're trying to look for a new way to surf the internet on your Apple mobile device, then you should probably download and try out Google's Chrome for iOS.
