Apple iOS 6 Confirmed For WWDC 2012

Banners that are currently being raised at the San Francisco convention center confirms that Apple's iOS 6 will be launching during the Worldwide Developers Conference or WWDC 2012.

The event will be held there at Moscone West and under the iOS 6 logo is the tagline, "The world’s most advanced mobile operating system."

The number 6 is in white over a background of rippling water as you can see in the photo shown below:



What features will the new iOS 6 have? That's still a kept secret but rumors say that it would have its own map application (no more Google Maps), and better Facebook integration.

Other rumors include the installation of virtual assistant app, Siri on the iPad; more iCloud features and a "Do Not Disturb" feature which can turn all notifications off on iOS devices, specially the iPhone.
