Dallas Series Comes Back To Television

The Ewing family is back at Southfork Wednesday night as TNT premiers the pilot episode of the classic evening soap, Dallas.

The first episode managed a respectable 6.9 million total viewers, the highest rating for the network this year so far for a scripted series on cable.

A report from TNT says that "Dallas" took the network to the top spot among basic cable subscribers during the 9-to-11 p.m. airtime.

The revamped "Dallas" series includes Larry Hagman and Patrick Duffy from its original run back in 1978. They are joined by new faces Jordana Brewster and Jesse Metcalfe.
