iPhone 5 Specs As Reported in Rumor Mills

Unlike the release of the "new" iPad, this September 12 won't be a disappointment as Apple is more than obvious to tell us that they are releasing the iPhone 5 (and not the "new" iPhone).

And according to the rumor mill, the latest iPhone would most probably have the quad-core processor, Apple A6 - which would ironically be manufactured by Samsung but designed by Apple itself.

When it comes to the RAM, a 1GB spec would be very probable. As well as improvements on the antenna, which now has enhanced signal performance with 4G LTE support.

Images of possible looks for the iPhone 5 vary, with several websites claiming to have parts, bits and pieces of the new handset. But still, nothing is ever really clear on how the new smartphone will look like.

I guess for now, we all have to stay tuned for September 12 and the Apple Media event in San Francisco, which will take place at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts. Live streaming by Apple is not yet confirmed, but the event will start at 10 a.m. PT.
