According to a police spokesperson, Lt. William Nash, 26-year old Bynes' black BMW hit an LA County Sheriff's patrol car at around 3 in the morning.
"There was minor paint transfer damage to both vehicles. An investigation was conducted at the scene, and ... Bynes was subsequently arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol," Nash said.
No one got hurt during the accident and Bynes did not suffer any injuries.
Minutes after, several showbiz websites started uploading Amanda Bynes mugshots which was apparently leaked. As of this moment, no official representative has spoken for Ms. Bynes regarding the accident.
Amanda Bynes shot to fame through Nickelodeon TV, and even winning the Kids' Choice Award. However, in 2010, she announced that she is retiring from the limelight because she no longer loved acting.
