Cinco de Mayo Feature: Easy Margarita Recipe

We continue with our special feature on Cinco de Mayo today with a simple and easy to do Margarita recipe. As the evening of May 5th inches nearer, many will be sharing delicious Mexican food on the dinner table with their friends and families tonight.

But boxing fans will surely be glued to their seats to watch Mayweather vs Cotto live tonight. And while Miguel Cotto is Puerto Rican, I'm sure enjoying the fight with some Tequila shots or Margarita glasses are close enough to be in the spirit of the match.

Below is a classic Margarita recipe. We're posting this early enough for you to make a quick run to the liquor store to have your ingredients ready before the fight.

So for those who wants to know how to make Margarita, here are the ingredients:
  • 1 oz lime juice
  • 1.5 oz Tequila
  • 0.5 oz premium triple sec

Procedure:
Rub lime juice on the rim of a margarita glass. Turn over and run wet rim over fine salt. In a pitcher, mix all ingredients above with ice. Pour into margarita glass and serve.

Simple enough isn't it? Be sure to drink moderately. We hope you enjoy the night and we wish everyone a happy Cinco de Mayo.
