The process means that the baby will bear both their genetics, but it will grow inside another woman. The reason for this decision is that doctors think that Giuliana's womb and health may not be strong enough to go through normal pregnancy.
It can be remembered that last fall, Giuliana at 37, announced that she was diagnosed with breast cancer and had to undergo double mastectomy. That plus other health problems in the past, including a miscarriage, made the couple decide that it's better to have a baby through a gestational surrogate.
Currently, Giuliana is the host of E! News; while Bill at 40, is an entrepreneur and motivational speaker. Together, they are the stars in the reality series by the Style Network entitled, "Giuliana & Bill."
